After visiting Copenhagen for my global engagement studio, I was asked to design a three-dimensional typographical poster with both cuts and folds that reflected a specific experience. My most memorable adventure during my trip was when I visited The Six Forgotten Giants, which are sculptures made from repurposed wood crafted by the artist Thomas Dambo.
The whimsical sculptures were hidden throughout the woods in Copenhagen. They evoked a fun and exploratory sentiment, which inspired me to share my interpretation through my poster. I then collaborated with my classmates to build an exhibit to display our designs in Red Square within the Design School at Arizona State University.
